This course will assist you and your line managers to effectively manage your disciplinary procedures. It will also allow you to understand your role, responsibilities and authority during disciplinary procedures which often seem confusing and vague.

About your facilitator

Heidi has been working in the HR field since 1990 of which 9-years have been at senior management level. Her work experience was gained in the following industries: parastatal, government, legal, engineering, mining and the corporate/banking environment. The extent of experience was always very hands-on and dealt with the whole HR spectrum, including industrial and employee relations. This enables her to have a very practical approach to HR and its related issues. She has been training since 1994 when she started training in facilitation programmes. Since June 2005 Heidi has been running her own HR consulting business that focuses on change management and training and development programmes. She applies Appreciative Inquiry as a change process and assists clients in dealing with their issues in a non-threatening, consultative mode that clients find refreshing. She is also a successful talent scout for her clients. Heidi holds a BA (Law), Hons (Industrial Psychology) and Masters (Industrial Psychology). She is registered with the South African Board of Personnel Practice as a Chartered HR Practitioner.
